I am the Principal Investigator of the Sonatina research grant “Modular quantum thermal devices: integrating thermal functionalities” at the International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies (ICTQT), University of Gdańsk, funded by the Polish National Science Centre, 2025-2028.

Previously, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ICTQT-UG in the “New Quantum Resources and Thermodynamics Group”, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. hab. Michał Horodecki. Before that, I completed my Ph.D. in quantum thermodynamics at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Frederico Brito (academic tree). You can find my thesis here.

I am particularly passionate about:

 ● Quantum Thermodynamics
 ● Open Quantum Systems
 ● Quantum Information
 ● Stochastic Thermodynamics
 ● cQED platforms

My research explores the interplay between quantum information, thermodynamics, and open systems, aiming to uncover new fundamental limits and applications for emerging quantum technologies 2.0. For details on my work, see my publications page. I’m always open to discussions and collaborations—feel free to reach out!

Before moving to quantum sciences, I have worked with MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) and neuroengineering. You can find my Msc Dissertation here (in portuguese).

My Erdos number is 4.
